Today i went to see Avatar … with my family and friend …

a little unexpected since … ive been trying to get Avatar tickets to ask a girl out for weeks …

all the tickets are sold … or have been priced jacked for ridiculous amounts of money (for a movie ticket)

luckily … dont know how … my friend was able to get his hands on 4 FOUR … tickets … what luck …

the line up into the movie theatre was around 30 – 45 minutes long …

it hasnt been that long since the first Pokemon movie came out …

everyone that went by the concession stand would buy pop corn … movie size drinks and other kinds of food …

it was a good idea … since the movie is three hours long … it was a really good idea …

until 1.5 hours go by and it was getting exciting … then people rattled around to pee and so other stuff …

the movie … was exciting … whether it was the 3d or the plot … it was great …

something that lingers … and makes you think you want to know more about a world unlike your own …

it was like when the first Harry Potter came out … and all that anyone wants to do is to get magic wands and kick those little bank goblins around …

the 3D effects are … what you would expect … they pop up … they have contrast with far and close things …

nothing out of the ordinary … until you really get into character … and when you sit in the 3rd row of the theatre …

normally everyone will flock to the middle because it has the least strain on the neck …

the reason to sit almost directly infront is … you want no interference from anything infront of you …

while you wear those thick geeky glasses in a pitch black room … watching a movie with surround sounds … the only thing that would affect you

is whatever infront of you …

if  you sit in the front theres nothing that can do that …

while  you get into character with Avatar … the leafs leave the screen … the ashes fall further than the screen play area …

gettin into character isnt hard either … the plot and story is made so well that you will sit sink in and believe you’re there ……………. if you allow it …

i wont go indepth with this … the movie is made so well that you need to watch it …

either on the big screen … or on bluray … just god forbid .. watching it on dvd … thats just a disgrace …

Today i met up with yet another old friend …

this friendship also dating back 15 years …

but if you count the days that we cant really recall …

the days where we were still in kindergarden …

then much longer back …

this friend of mine loves food …

loves it so much that he went to culinary school just to get closer to food …

this day … we did not enjoy our food that much …

we went to a particular restaruant connected to some hotel in Downtown …

this restaruant has a 4 diamond rating …

yet the food sucked … and the service was less than acceptional …

so we went for Japadogs …

then to a more famous hotel for drinks instead …

My drink unfortunately was TOO sweet …

thats why i usually stick to my scotch, brandy and rum =D

after having long heart to heart talk about food … and drinks and many very meaningful “how are you” and “what are you up to nowadays”

we decided to leave the hotel and enter the malls

For the olympic … the official sponsor Samsung … had put out gigantic cellphones that actually work

maybe they work a little too well …
